My Favorite Baseball Movies

During these trying time of the Coronavirus pandemic, I have had my share of time working from home and spending time with my family. I have been reading a few stories from blogs about favorite movies and it got me to thinking. Since it is suppose to be baseball season entering the third month of the season right now, but still no baseball. What is my favorite all time baseball movies. Here is my top 10 in order from favorite:

1. Field of Dreams (1989)

2. Sandlot (1993)

3. Major League (1989)

4. Bull Durham (1988)

5. 42 (2013)

6. Trouble with a Curve (2012)

7. The Natural (1984)

8. A League of Their Own (1992)

9. Bad News Bears (1976)

10. The Rookie (2002)


A few honorable mentions that didn't crack my top 10 but still are great movies are: For Love of the Game (1999), Little Big League (1994), Rookie of the Year (1993). There is one baseball film that I watched on Netflix just the other day that's a new film that not many people know about that I want to recommend. I's a faith based film and filmed right here in my home state of Georgia and Atlanta area. The movie is Full Count (2017). A must watch!!!
