My name is Mark A. Kirkley and I am a sports writer. I am also currently writing two books at the same time. Yes, call me crazy, but I enjoy writing in my spare time. People ask me do I ever stop watching sports? My answer is no, sports is year round. Sports is the ice breaker for me, sports is my passion.

By way of Honolulu, and a few stops in Boston, I live in Atlanta with my wife and three daughters. I have always been a sports fan for as long as I can remember...watching my favorite teams Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, UGA Bulldogs, on occasion the Atlanta Hawks, and now the Atlanta United.
