Top Moments of the 2019 Atlanta Braves Season

With the start of the 2020 baseball season just under four months away and the signs of spring is about a month away when pitchers and catchers start to report to spring training, I thought it would be good to refresh all Braves fans of the 2019 season. Though the team didn't finish the way they wanted too, the team still brought the fans some great moments. With the starting rotation and relief pitching even stronger for 2020, and the starting batting lineup not changing that much, fans have a lot to look forward to with this upcoming season.

Of Note: Last year just before the start of the 2019 campaign, SunTrust Bank (Atlanta based) and BB&T (Charlotte, NC based) merged to become Truist Bank. The Atlanta Braves just three years into the 25-year naming rights of SunTrust, will be unveiling the new name of the ballpark on Tuesday, January 14. Top executives of the Braves say the new name will be "Truist something."

My View: Not sure I'm in favor of that name unless it is something like Bobby Cox Field at Truist Park, or Coca-Cola Field, Home Depot Field, or even Hank Aaron Field. But if the name is going to be Truist Park, it should have an Atlanta based name added to field to keep Atlanta ties. Most fans probably would get behind that.
